Adult Programs

We welcome adults of any age to join us at the library for craft programs, instructional classes, and more!

Information about the different programs we offer are below. Anyone is able to participate, even if you don't have a library card! Some programs require registration, and others are just first come, first serve. If registration is required it will be listed in the details for each event.

Painting Pottery
Crafts

The library offers crafts for adults too! Join us for a fun evening of crafting and socializing! Typically all materials and supplies will be provided at no cost; however, you may be asked to bring specific items from home for certain crafts. Registration is required for crafts.

Smiling Teacher
Instructional Classes

The library offers instructional classes on a variety of subjects such as Wills & Estate planning, Technology Classes, Food Canning, and much more! Instruction classes are free of charge, but you may be asked to provide your own materials or equipment depending on the class. Registration is required for instructional classes.

Pile Of Books
Book Club

Library Book Club is a book club for adults. The library provides the books for the club members. The book genres can range from mystery to romance, and are often books not seen on recent bestseller lists. This way, members can expand their horizons and learn about new authors!

The meetings are held at the library once per month, on the fourth Monday of every month (with some exceptions). We do not meet during the summer months. Please contact the Alfred Dickey Library for more information.

To register for this program, please visit the main desk at Alfred Dickey Library or call 701-252-2990.
